A long Tradition.
Le Locle has been the seat of the Du Bois family since 1684. The features and furnishings of the house, preserved in the baroque style, are valued as a jewel of this period and testify to the skills of the craftsmen and merchants in those days. The precious documents in the archives are witnesses to the long tradition of the house of Du Bois & Fils and Swiss watchmaking.
In the year 1785
Philippe Du Bois, the senior and founding partner, brought his two sons into the business and gave it the name that has survived up to the present day, "Philippe Du Bois & Fils".
